TIRED OF BEING SICK AND TIRED
We are a site that will report monthly hours served if you have acquired community service hours through Parole, Probation, or the court system.
12 Step Groups
This group is founded on the 12 steps of A.A. and N.A. and the Bible. Together these form the tools of healing, comfort, and peace allowing our women to move forward so they can engage in healthier relationships and better life choices!!
We extend our services to women in our community who may be dealing with difficult circumstances to offer a new light and hope.
Advocacy in the Court System
If a woman is in our out-patient program, we will go with her to court and speak on her behalf, supplying the court with any required program reports (i.e., program participation/rehabilitation progress, projected program completion date, urinalysis test results, etc.).
Random Drug Screening
The drug testing will always be pop up; women will never know what day or time a test will be taken.
Everyone will have a counselor assigned to them to address and work through issues in private. Once the issues are successfully addressed, it is the hope of WOESTCL that our women will one day pay it forward by sharing their experience, strength and hope with others.
This group is used to learn how to take care of one's self physically and mentally through meditation.
We provide group settings to educate our clients about HIV, AIDS, HEPC, Domestic Violence, and substance abuse prevention.
Musical therapy helps motivate participants by:
• reducing anxiety, depression and stress
• invoking healing
• igniting reflective thought
Women Breaking Bread Group
Women Breaking Bread (WBB) is a group for women that really want to build sister-like relationships that are different and fresh. All that is required is the desire to personally move forward in their lives. It's a safe place to release innermost concerns and breathe in the power of solution.
We have a special team that meets with potential employers to personally advocate for employment of our clients. An assessment test would be given to place our women appropriately.
Be Real, Be Still Group
This is a group of truth – no holding back from the truth. This group is for mature women desiring support to keep working on moving forward.
Residential Services (Coming Soon)
Our program has zero-tolerance for testing positive for drug and alcohol use. The services are open to single women, 18 years of age and older. Women can stay with us for 12-18 months and will have a structure designed, daily schedule along with the necessary classes and groups that will allow them to obtain/maintain a self-supporting life.
